THE BORING BUT IMPORTANT STUFF

Privacy

Last updated: October 26, 2026. Please Interfere is a playful, free, browser-based community game.

Information we collect

To limit repeat voting, we use a first-party browser cookie containing a random identifier. The server stores a one-way hash of that identifier with the choices submitted. We do not require accounts, names, passwords, or email addresses to play.

Our hosting provider may process standard technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, and request logs to deliver and protect the site. If we enable Cloudflare Turnstile, it may process additional signals to distinguish real users from automated traffic.

How we use information

We use votes to determine each day's collective result, maintain fair participation, troubleshoot site performance, and protect the service against abuse.

Storage and cookies

The game stores your selected daily option in your browser's local storage so your experience can reflect what you voted for. A first-party session cookie reduces repeated submissions. Clearing browser storage or cookies may reset these local controls.

Advertising and analytics

We may introduce advertising and privacy-respecting analytics as the website grows. We will update this notice and implement any required consent controls before enabling advertising cookies or applicable tracking technologies. Advertising is not enabled in the launch source package.
